Visits from Outreach Staff
Trained outreach personnel will visit your high school during the fall and spring semester, as appropriate. The Citrus College representative will meet individually with students referred by counselors and will make classroom presentations, as needed.
Outreach personnel are available to give presentations regarding Citrus College departments, programs, and general college information.
Outreach staff and other program representatives will discuss programs and services available at Citrus College, like Financial Aid, EOPS/CARE, Teacher Prep, etc., and assist students in completing the application process. This can be done in classes or in a workshop setting. Special emphasis on particular programs available at your request.
An outreach representative will attend parents' meetings at the school site to provide a comprehensive listing of services and a better understanding of our instructional and career education opportunities. English and Spanish, if requested.
Early College Program - Duarte High School
Early College is a program at Duarte High School in collaboration with the Dean of Physical and Natural Sciences. The program blends high school and college in a rigorous yet supportive cohort program, enabling a student to complete a high school diploma and 30 college credits simultaneously. School Relations and Outreach assists in providing a smooth enrollment process for the student and provides assistance in monitoring the program.
