Jim Woolum is a full time faculty member at Citrus College with over thirty years experience in local law enforcement. In addition to classroom activities, Mr. Woolum is currently vice president of the Academic Senate.

Paul Dennis pdennis@citruscollege.edu
Paul Dennis is currently a lieutenant with the Azusa Police Department. During his 20 year career in law enforcement, he has held a variety of assignments which include jailer, officer, detective, S.W.A.T. Team Member and S.W.A.T. Team Commander. He is currently assigned to the Patrol Division and serves as the Sector Area Commander for the eastern portion of the city. Lt. Dennis has been an instructor at Citrus College since 2003.

Brian Elias belias@citruscollege.edu
Brian Elias has over 20 years of experience in a variety of public safety roles including paramedic and police officer. He is currently a captain with the Operations Division of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner. Brian is a Fellow of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators and serves on that organizations board.

Stephan Hunt shunt@citruscollege.edu
Steve Hunt is currently a lieutenant with the Azusa Police Department and is also a Citrus College graduate. Lt. Hunt is a U.S. Army veteran and has over 21 years of law enforcement experience. He has held a number of assignments that include patrol officer, narcotics detective, gang detective, field training officer and S.W.A.T. He is currently assigned as the detective bureau lieutenant, overseeing investigations and narcotics. Lt. Hunt has been instructor at Citrus College since 2001.

Dr. Tien Pham, JD tpham@citruscollege.edu
Dr. Tien Pham is currently a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles County. Before becoming a prosecutor, Dr. Pham briefly practiced law as a criminal defense attorney. She has a wide range of experience in criminal law, criminal evidence and criminal procedure. Her experience offers students a unique prospective into the criminal justice system.

Henry Provencher is a chief deputy warden for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation at the California Institution for Men. As a career executive, his law enforcement experience spans over 30 years and he is responsible for all facets of management in business services, human resources, litigation, investigations, training, operations, and policy/procedure development and implementation.

Kerwin Wong kwong@citruscollege.edu
Kerwin Wong is currently a sergeant with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. His career of 28 years in law enforcement has given him opportunities to work numerous assignments, which include, jails, courts, patrol, undercover/sting operations, detectives, public relations, youth programs, background investigator, and incident management team. Sgt. Wong has been an instructor at Citrus College for 18 years.
