Track Season Ends at SoCal Prelims
Walnut, CA (Track and Field) -- The 2011 Citrus College Track and Field season came to an end on Friday afternoon at the 2011 Southern California Preliminaries hosted by Mt. San Antonio College. The Fighting Owls boasted seven individuals and three relay teams that participated throughout the day, all serving the Citrus across their chest well as the season came to a close.Full article »

The Usual Suspects
Bakersfield, CA (Track & Field) -- It was the usual suspects who came up big for the Citrus College Track and Field team at this past weekend’s Western State Conference Finals. Sophomore Shawn Miller along with Freshmen Chelsea Deutschlander and Jimmy Aviles were the top performers for the Fighting Owls and will all move on to the SoCal Prelims next weekend.Full article »

Griffin, Aviles Are Tops for Citrus at WSC Prelims
Santa Monica, CA (Track & Field) -- The Citrus College Track and Field team kicked off their post-season competition last Thursday at the WSC Preliminaries hosted by Santa Monica College. Freshmen Natlie Griffin and Jimmy Aviles were Citrus’ top performers in the meet as they both had a pair of Top 6 finishes.Full article »

Bryan Clay Invite Brings Out the Best of Track and Field
Azusa, CA (Track & Field) -- The Citrus College Track and Field team got some of their best performances of the season this past weekend by participating right next door at Azusa Pacific’s Bryan Clay Invitational. In addition to the myriad of personal bests posted by the Fighting Owls, four personal bests were Top 10 marks in the entire Western State Conference.Full article »

Men Step Up at WSC Meet #2
Valley Glen, CA (Track and Field) -- The Citrus College Men’s Track and Field team had what was undoubtedly their best performance of the 2011 campaign on Friday afternoon at the WSC Meet #2 hosted by LA Valley College. The Fighting Owls had 13 top five finishes at the event and ended up in fourth place out of the six competing schools with a point total of 98 points over sixty points more than their previous WSC Meet finish.Full article »
